Headrest is amazing! I have to give props to both Atlas Headrest and Crandall Office both for the amazing work they put into this headrest!

The headrest is fully adjustable (horizontal and vertical) within a very wide range of movement and a very simple to use mechanism. Assembly was straightforward and easy to perform with all neccesssary tools provided with the product. The cushion material is very comfortable.

I tend to use headrests as a means to rest my head when I lean back all the way in the chair and not when I am sitting up in an active work position (for reference, the steelcase series 2 headrest was perfect for me), so I was cautious if this headrest would suit my needs since most office chair headrests are more aggressively desgined than I would like. I am glad to say that the adjustability range of the headrest allows for both use cases to be satsified. Currently 25 days in with no issues to report!

For reference, I am just under 5'10" and my shoulders rest just over the back of the chair sitting properly (~1 inch or so).

The removable mechanism, the adjustability, and the price - these are all advantages over the original headrest. It's a great headrest, but it would be even better if it came in more colors and materials, looked more integrated with the Leap, was easier to remove, and was a lower price.

I have a Secretlab chair and at 42 (now 43) I started to experience lower back muscle pain so I decided to go back to a Leap v2 last year, which I had before but had passed my old one to my wife when she started working from home. The main reason I got the Secretlab instead of another Leap v2 at the time was because I wanted a headrest and didn't like any of the offerings from Steelcase. I decided to get another Leap v2 because I heard Atlas had a proper headrest in the works, so I figured once I could get the headrest I would have the perfect chair. So now that I have the headrest, for me I indeed have the perfect chair; I can lean back on demand (and now I have something comfortable to rest my head on), twist left and right with the chair flexing with me, and the 4d arms are unbeatable with the perfect amount of curve and softness.

Headrest for Steelcase Leap V2 Chair

This headrest is great quality and would be very comfortable. Unfortunately, it does not fit Leap Plus models as the bar in the back is at a lower height than the regular Leap V2 models. This is where the bottom connection is. I confirmed through Atlas customer service it would not work. I would love to keep this but must return until Atlas makes one for the Leap plus models.
