I was on the fence about this headrest because it's crazy expensive. I installed this headrest and got it just right....it's done more for my neck/body than the chair.
The headrest is very easy to install. The build quality is very nice and the materials are really good. Very soft and not scratchy for your neck.
The headrest is very adjustable and comfortable.
Note that the headrest is bigger than you probably think it will be.
Would definitely recommend over the competitor options. Also (at least where I live in New Zealand) the headrest price is about the same as upgrading to a leap with a headrest except the steelcase leap headrest is notoriously terrible, so I’m super glad I got this instead.
Headrest goes perfectly with the leap v2. It’s almost as if it was manufactured by steelcase themselves. Very sturdy and nice range of adjustments. Easy to assemble and stays locked in place once you find the right position. I did notice that the mounting for the headrest does slightly bend the chair, which kinda creates a more pronounced lumbar area. Luckily I like more lumbar, but could pose some issues for those who don’t want the extra lumbar support.

Purchased this for a 2nd hand Leap V2. Was the missing piece to unlocking max level comfort for the chair. I received the headrest ahead of schedule which was a pleasant surprise. This has great adjustability and was very easy to install. If the tension **** are not over tightened but are snug, vertical and horizontal adjustments depending on seating position are a breeze. This has superior build quality compared to the oem and other after market models. It could be $100 less but the design and build quality are superior to any other product thus warranting the price premium.

A little awkward looking at first glance because I own a platinum frame Leap v2, but then it started to blend in. The neck support is awesome in ANY posture. It’s really great, nothing like the flimsy generic ones. An expensive add on to an already expensive chair, but totally worth it.
