I wasn't sure about not having a headrest with the Herman Miller Embody, since all my previous chairs had headrests. I was feeling some tension and thought I just needed time to adjust to the chair. With the addition of the Atlas headrest, I experienced immediate relief, and I realized that I do use the headrest, even if it’s only a few times a day.
It was definitely worth it

I bought the cushion version with vegan leather for my Aeron Classic. Fits perfectly and is easily adjusted while seated. I just didn't tighten the nuts too tight and I can slide it sitting with a bit of effort. Love the tilt feature to get the most comfortable position when I lean back! I find the headrest soft but not squishy, just right as Goldilocks would say. The vegan leather matches the duron arms well so doesn't look out of place with the graphite chair frame & mesh. As another reviewer pointed out, my bald head can leave some residual scalp oil but because the fabric is "leather" it wipes right off. I'd recommend this option if you're concerned about the fabric showing the oil, though I've not seen the fabric version.

Overall, it's a great addition to the chair. My only problem is that it has really highlighted how my chair is too small for 6'2" me because to fit, I have the headrest near it's maximum height which is about 5" above the chair back. I think it looks a bit odd, but is still comfortable. So I'll probably be looking to buy a new chair in a larger size and sell this one. But Aerons are made to last. Mine is 20 years old, gently used over that time, but still has another 20 in her at least! Don't hesitate to get this headrest.

Not only is the headrest matched in material and color, it is also extremely comfortable. Definitely a worthy purchase for this chair.

I was reticent to add a third party headrest to my $2,200 Herman Miller, but after having it at home for a few days, I realized that I missed the headrest from my previous (albeit cheap) office chair, so I purchased the Atlas Headrest.

If you weren't told that it wasn't built this way directly from Herman Miller, you would never know. It's just as heavy and well built as the Embody itself, the white frame is the perfect color, the skeletal backing looks just as good as the Herman Miller itself, the Sync Fabric feels and looks just as good as the Sync from Herman Miller, AND it was easy to install and adjust.

I cannot believe how much better a $200 headrest would make a $2,200 Herman Miller! I cannot recommend it enough, 100/10!

After attaching the headrest in my chair, I can have more relaxation with my neck when lying down. Even sometimes, I can have a nap in my chair without any pain in my neck. Thanks to Atlas for the Cushion Headrest.

So exacting close to the Embody's original materials, you would think that Herman Miller made it. Easy to assemble. Works wonderfully. Best headrest for the Embody out there. Worth every penny. Happy I pulled the trigger an purchased it.

I bought my embody chair with meledy papaya color back in 2019, and I've washed my chair couple times , and this headrest came perfect match I was shocked I can't even see any discolouration match at all. Honestly best purchase I've made in a couple of years
